Marshmallow Challenge

My team started the marshmallow challenge by building a structure out of spaghetti sticks by binding the legs of the structure with tape. Taping the spaghetti sticks together was easy, but making the structure stand upright on its own was hard. I feel that this challenge would be good for younger kids to learn teamwork. There was no leader in our group. My team collaborated and all of my team gave ideas on how we should build the structure. All of the people in our team were included in the process of making the structure or planning it. Our team had a plan on how we were going to build the structure. The plan worked. We did not veer from the plan at all while building the structure. Through this activity I learned about teamwork.
